The Emergency Service for Carers
Types of emergengy help
There will be different levels of emergency which will require varying levels of response. This will include:
- The carer cannot get home because a vehicle breaks down or a train is delayed.
- The carer has an accident
- The carer is suddenly admitted into hospital
- The carer is need elswhere urgently for another crisis
- The carer is to attend a funeral
CERS cannot help:
- If the carer cannot cope any longer
- to replace existing respite
- to organise long term care
- with emergencies to the cared for
