Objectives

To provide a back up service to carers to ensure that the person they care for is given support in the case of an emergency.
As well as ensuring that the person is given support, such a service would provide peace of mind and therefore reduce stress levels of carers.
Identify hidden carers who don’t necessarily think of themselves as carers.
To reach carers who don’t currently access any relevant services or organisations.
Add value to carers services.
